It started with the same question, over and over
Something shifted in 2026. Almost everyone we talked to was using AI. ChatGPT and Claude had quietly become part of the daily routine, drafting emails, answering questions, thinking out loud. People were genuinely excited about handing the small, repetitive parts of their day to something smarter.
And yet one question kept finding its way back to us. "How do I get an AI to actually do this specific thing for my business?" Not another chat window. Not a clever prompt they had to babysit. A real agent that owns a real job, chasing down leads, working a support queue, keeping a system up to date, and simply gets it done.
Most of the people asking had no idea it was even possible. They didn't know an agent could plug into the apps they already live in, or their own database, or a custom internal tool. They just knew what they wanted: to message something in a channel they already open every day, like Telegram or WhatsApp, and have the work taken care of, the way you would hand it to a trusted teammate.
The more of those conversations we had, the clearer it became. The demand was already here. What was missing was anyone making it easy. That is the gap we started Praxic to close.
What we realized was actually broken
The problem was never desire. People wanted this badly. The problem was that building a specialized agent is still genuinely hard for anyone who isn't technical.
Go straight to a model's API and almost nothing works out of the box. Suddenly you own the context management, the tools the model doesn't ship with, and the work of keeping everything coherent as the task grows. Most people don't know an agent can run its own sub-agents, let alone when it should. None of this is obvious, and none of it is the reason they came.
Yes, there are agent builders and workflow builders out there. But here is the honest truth we kept running into: non-technical people don't want to learn the software. They don't carry a mental model for how the pieces snap together, and they have no interest in building one. Plenty of established businesses won't even take the first step, not because they doubt the value, but because the on-ramp quietly asks them to become engineers.
So we kept meeting the same painful irony. The people with the most to gain from automation were the least equipped to build it.
Our bet: it should just work, and we will do the hard part
We decided to build for exactly those people. Not the tinkerers. The ones who just want the work done.
Two convictions sit at the heart of Praxic. The first is that it should work out of the box. You should never have to think about context windows, tool setup, self-learning, or any of the plumbing underneath. You describe the job in plain words, and the agent carries it.
The second is bigger than software, and it is the part we care about most. We are not here to hand you a builder and wish you luck. We want to build the agent with you and for you, a team shaping it to the way your business actually runs, so it fits your workflow instead of forcing you to fit its. You should never have to open a dashboard to figure out why something broke. For businesses and enterprise teams especially, that human layer is the whole point: you get an agent, and people who keep it sharp, not one more tool to babysit.
We looked hard for someone already doing this the way we believed it should be done. We didn't find them. So we are building it ourselves.
The honest part
We will be straight with you: we are still early. Praxic is in its MVP phase, and we are heads-down getting the fundamentals right. Some days we are figuring it out in real time.
And honestly, that has been the best part. We have learned more than we imagined about how to build agents that work, how to give them the right context, how to let them operate real software on your behalf, and how to make them dependable instead of merely impressive in a demo. What we can build today would have looked out of reach when we started only months ago.
We can't tell you exactly what Praxic becomes a few years from now. But we know we will look back on this stretch as the beginning, and we intend to make it worth being proud of.
Who it's for, and where this goes
Praxic is for the business owner who wants a support agent running around the clock, and for the individual who just wants one recurring task off their plate for good. For individuals, we are making it simple and self-serve, clear enough that a short video is all it takes to get going. For businesses and enterprises, it is done-for-you, with our team personalizing and managing the agent so it keeps delivering long after day one.
Underneath all of it is one belief: having a capable agent should not be a privilege reserved for technical teams. It should be something anyone can reach for. You bring the request. We make sure it gets done.
That is why we are building Praxic. If this is the thing you have been waiting for, join the waitlist. We would love to build your first agent with you.
